Click on the image on the template then click on the little garbage can on the right side of the top panel to delete the default image. Because this template already has a number of elements a solid color works best. You can also click on the background option on the left side panel and choose a textured background. You can customize your colors further if you can’t find what you are looking for in the default color options.
Click on the color square at the top of the screen (it will be the same color as the background on the template.) Choose the color you want to change it to. You may need to crop or resize the image so it fits neatly into the placeholder. Once you have your image chosen, drag it over to the image placeholder. When you find something you like double click it and it will be added to the first-page template. Click on the photo image on the left side panel, in the search bar search for images you would like to see (for this example we type in Christmas).
You can also replace the image with one of Canva’s free or paid images. Next, if you want to upload your own image click the uploads option from the left panel, search for the image you want to upload from your computer. You will have an image placeholder left in the space where the image was, leave this place holder there. Step 4: You can add your own image. First, click on the current image and hit the little garbage can icon near the top right of the page. You can do this with the second page as well! Test out a few to see which ones you like most. Here you will see options to add shadows, outlines, and other great effects. If you click on the effects option, another box will appear on the left side of the screen. At the top of the page, you will see an option to change the font, size, color, alignment, and add effects. Click on the text box and delete the current text to replace it with whatever you desire. Step 3.Change the text to add your own holiday message.
