

These chapters have to be unlocked in a specific order that is determined by the story in order to ultimately finish the movie. Players take control of two or more characters as they progress through a series of levels, with each one standing in for a different segment of a film. The gameplay focuses primarily on action, with some elements of platforming and mild puzzle-solving threw in. Objects would frequently disassemble in a manner analogous to that of actual LEGO bricks, actors would sport amusing facial expressions, and all of the dialogue from events in the movies would be substituted by hand gestures.

The portrayal of these happenings, on the other hand, is done in a comical manner, as all of the people and settings are created out of LEGO bricks. The plot covers the majority of the significant occurrences that take place in the films, though it may omit or include certain sequences. Players can assume the roles of any one of more than thirty different characters as they navigate pivotal scenes from The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. In LEGO form, players are able to relive the events of the Star Wars prequel movie trilogy (Episodes I, II, and III) through the medium of the video game LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game.
